Cheapero was an automated product crawler with powerful crawl technology and a backend. It was developed without a framework. The backend crawled products with Python and queued them. This queue was used by the PHP backend to format the products and insert them into Cheapero's database. Cheapero also crawled prices from various portals/marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon. Finally, users who have access to cheapero were able to search and find products with the cheapest price. The system did generate revenue through the distribution of affiliate links.
